Honestly as far as people dislike the firm I think we can thank Microsoft for that, looking at 30 Years of me being a Sega Fanboy that there is no way in hell that was their Thought. They've a notoriously bad marketing and are pretty fearful of the Global Market due to this (Stuff they bring over tend to not sell so well since... well a lot of don't know it is ). I think after you beat Shadowlords and we get the exact same articles from JP (likely 2021) you would be fine focusing on PSO2.
Hmm, so it's not all this year. A Persona collab was just announced for PSO2 and among the item you can get is a Jack Frost outfitIt's an action mmorpg. It requires some effort to get into and understand but then it's fun. All of its story content and most of its gameplay is totally free to play also.
You receive collab items using paid currency to purchase scratch tickets. They're totally cosmetic so that you don't need it all to play the sport, it's only some thing to inspire players to support the game. If you do not wish to shell out money then yeah you are out of luck. EDIT: You can potentially buy it off someone who doesn't desire it using a fantastic amount of free money. PSA: Due to Steam configs and USB adapters, you can now play with PSO2 with a Dreamcast or GameCube controller
What a wonderful way to savor PSO times, and you can't go wrong using a Dreamcast Keyboard and Mouse likely lol. I didn't try but I would strongly doubt it, gameguard is notoriously trashy, I believe steam's overlay only works on Steam since it needed to be whitelisted over there. Actually it doesn't allow the big image mode one you Want to configure the control in game so you Need to Make all changes when not playing it is kind of a hassle. You have to turn "use the huge picture overlay when using a steam input controller in the background" from the steam settings, in the port section.
You also need to run steam as secretary, because pso2 runs in admin mode. Yeah, I already use the first choice, this is the only game I've ever seen do this. It is 99% likely because of GameGuard's trashy cheat security, I am honestly hoping they ditch that monstrosity at NGS. I was a bit shocked to see it tbh, I haven't seen any other sport running that thing likely because circa 2010 I wan na na say. Not to mention things relating to games should never be running as admin, this has been shared PC programming clinic because the Windows Vista age, we are far past this point and shouldn't even need to discuss it. Frankly I am surprsied MS allow the game launch in their shop with that prompt inside since they're partnered in the US ya understand?
There is a very cheap PSO2 Meseta at https://www.pso2ah.com/
